We love our volunteers! Carrying out our mission—bringing together donated resources and caring people to provide critical construction repairs for under-resourced neighbors—would not be possible without the dedication, time, and energy of people like you.
Project Crew Volunteers
We’re grateful for the skilled contractors and tradespeople who oversee our projects, but most of our volunteers are everyday neighbors—many with little or no experience—who bring nothing more than a willingness to help, and that’s what truly inspires us! We encourage parents to bring their children, passing on the invaluable lesson of serving others. We also welcome volunteers with disabilities, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to contribute.
All volunteers go through an application process, are organized by Catalyst leaders, and are supervised by our partnering construction contractors.
Project Support Volunteers
Not a hands-on builder? No problem! We also need volunteers to help with essential tasks like securing donations, purchasing materials, setting up volunteer areas, providing food and drinks, and assisting at the check-in table during larger projects.
Policies for Minors
- Minors must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a parent, guardian, or a responsible adult designated by their parent/guardian.
- Children under 12 may not engage in hazardous activities, including the use of power tools.
- Volunteers ages 12–18 may participate in supervised tasks under the guidance of a Catalyst leader or responsible adult.
- Minors must never be left alone with a non-family adult.
