Tilander Roof Project in Sherwood
Ms. Tilander is a 69-year-old low-income homeowner who has lived in her home for the past five years. Her roof needs replacement and is actively leaking into her kitchen.
In the past, her son helped maintain the home. Sadly, he passed away unexpectedly, leaving her without the support she once relied on for repairs and upkeep.
After meeting Ms. Tilander, the Catalyst team knew we needed to step in and help.
Scope of Work:
- Remove existing roof
- Replace any rotted plywood
- Install new roof
Volunteer Details:
There will be two shifts each day:
- 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
- 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Lunch will be provided daily from 12:00–12:30 for both morning and afternoon volunteers. Snacks and beverages will also be available.
There will be opportunities to serve both on the roof and on the ground, allowing for a variety of comfort levels and skill sets.
